Here are the eligibility criteria of some specific UGC NET subjects

  1. Population Studies (Code 015):
The Applicants with a Master’s Degree in Geography (Population Studies specialization) and Mathematics/Statistics specialization are eligible to appear for this subject.
  1. Women Studies (Code 074):
The Candidates holding a Master’s Degree in Humanities (including languages) or Social Sciences are eligible to appear for the “Women Studies” subject. Note: General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude (Paper-I) is mandatory for all the students appearing for UGC NET exams.
