TSTET 2025 Exam Eligibility Criteria

The TSTET 2025 exam eligibility criteria require aspirants to be Indian citizens with the necessary educational qualifications, and there will be no upper age limit to apply for the TS TET 2025 exam. ​Candidates who are appearing for the final year of B.Ed. exams or Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible to apply for TSTET 2025.

TSTET 2025 Exam Eligibility for Paper 1 (Primary Level: Classes 1-5)

Senior Secondary (10+2) Qualification:

  • Must have passed Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (for General category).
  • For SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
  • Must have completed or be in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) OR
  • Must have completed or be in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
  • Must have completed or be in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
TSTET 2025 Exam Eligibility for Paper 2 (Primary Level: Classes 6-8)
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with at least 50% marks (for General category).
  • For SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, a minimum of 45% marks is required.
  • Must have completed or be in the final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) OR
  • Must have completed or be in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR

TSTET 2025 Exam Syllabus 

The TS TET 2025 exam syllabus is divided into Paper I for classes I to V and Paper II for classes VI to VIII. Both papers have various sections such as Child Development & Pedagogy, Language I, Language II (English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies or Social Studies/Science. TSTET 2025 Exam Pattern

​The TNTET 2025 exam is designed into two papers; each paper is to evaluate aspiring teachers’ capability for different educational stages:​ primary level and upper primary level. The mode of examination will be offline (pen and paper-based) with a time duration of 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper. Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there will be no negative marking for any incorrect answer.

TSTET 2025 Exam Result 

The TSTET 2025 exam result will be announced after the completion of the TSTET exam with the scoreboard on the official website. Candidates can download it using their “hall ticket number” and “date of birth.” The minimum qualifying mark for the general category is 60%, while for other categories the minimum qualifying mark is 40%.
