  • A higher secondary level (or equivalent) examination has been passed with at least 50% marks and a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (2 years) passed or being pursued in the final year. 
  • A higher secondary level (or equivalent) examination has been passed with at least 45% marks and a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (2 years) passed or being pursued in the final year as per NCTE 2002 norms. 
  • A higher secondary level (or equivalent) examination has been passed with at least 50% marks and B.El.Ed. (4 years) final year examination being appeared for or has been cleared. 
  • Higher secondary (or equivalent) examination passed with 50% marks and is being pursued or completed in the final year of the Diploma in Education (Special Education) (two-year course). 
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks plus Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).

Paper 2 for Upper Primary Level (Classes 6-8)

  • Graduation and passed/appearing in the last year of D.El.Ed. (2 years) or Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Graduate with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the last year of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
  • Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed/appeared in the last year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) as prescribed by NCTE in 2002.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the last year of Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), four years.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the last year of B.A. or B.Sc.Ed. respectively; B.A.Ed. or B.Sc.Ed.
  • Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appeared in the last year of B.Ed. (Special Education).

CTET Age Limit 2025

  • There is no age restriction for CTET 2025. Any candidate of any age can apply if they are eligible according to the educational qualifications.
