Goa TET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements.Nationality:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Should fulfill the local/non-local status criteria as per the Goa government rules.
For Primary Level (Class I-V):
- Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with at least 45% marks and should be appearing or have completed:
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
- 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
- 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (BA/B.Sc) and B.Ed (with 50% marks) can also apply.
For Upper Primary Level (Class VI-VIII):
- Should have completed Graduation (BA/B.Sc) with 50% marks and should be appearing or have completed:
- B.Ed from a recognized university, OR
- 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
- B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed (with 50% marks).
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST/PH candidates.
