What is UGC NET Paper 1?

The questions in Paper I are intended to assess the teaching and research aptitude of the candidate. UGC NET Paper 1 is the first compulsory section of UGC NET.  They are primarily designed to test reasoning ability, reading comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate.
