The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for the UGC NET June 2024 cycle. The much-awaited notification provides all the crucial details regarding the exam dates, application process, eligibility criteria, exam pattern, and other important information.
As per the notification, the UGC NET June 2024 examination will be conducted on June 18, 2024, across various exam centers in India. The online application process for the same has already begun on April 20, 2024, and will remain open until May 10, 2024.

Application fee payment last date: May 11 - May 12, 2024
Application form correction window: May 13 - May 15, 2024
Exam Dates:
UGC NET Exam Date: June 18, 2024
The exam will be conducted in two shifts (morning and afternoon)
Exam Pattern:
The UGC NET June 2024 exam will follow the same pattern as the previous cycles
It will consist of two papers - Paper I (General Aptitude) and Paper II (Subject-specific)
Paper I will be common for all candidates, while Paper II will be based on the chosen subject
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed their post-graduation or equivalent examination from a recognized university with at least 55% marks (50% for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent grade
Candidates appearing in the final year/semester of their post-graduation are also eligible to apply
