The UGC NET 2024 happened on August 22 in Shift 1, in the online mode. These will be General Aptitude—a paper time test of Paper 1—and the respective subject-based tests comprising Paper 2, which will also have tests for Social Work, Home Science, Music, and the like. The overall difficulty range of the paper lay between easy to moderate in Paper 1; however, the overall net exam was pretty easy. Good Attempts for Paper 1 was 42-46 out of 50 questions while good attempts for Paper 2 differed with the subject at hand but most candidates made 70-80 good attempts out of 100 questions.
