Provisional answer key of UGC NET 2024 test, which was conducted from August 21, 2024, to September 5, 2024, has been released at the National Testing Agency. In this year, answer keys, recorded responses, and question papers of the candidates can be downloaded through the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Answer keys are issued in two steps by NTA:
Provisional Answer Key: This version is where one can go through the answers and challenge them.
Final Answer Key: This final version is released after taking into consideration all the objections of NTA, and it cannot be challenged.

Login using your application number and password or date of birth
Once you have logged in, you will find an answer key corresponding to your respective subject. Click on that.

Objection Facility Overview
If the candidates find any discrepancies in the provisional answer key, then they can challenge it. NTA will provide opportunity to the candidates to raise objection to some questions or options with payment of non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 200 per question. Objections received from the candidates will be placed before the Expert Committee and the Fee will be refunded to the candidate if the expert committee accepts the objection(s) raised by them. Corrections if any, will be made in Final Answer Key.
Steps to raise objections in the Answer Key
Login below at official website of NTA at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Click on "Challenge Answer Key" on bottom of the Home Page.
Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth.
Verify your Answer Sheet and select questions whose objections are to be raised.
Supporting documents may be uploaded in evidence for your objection in PDF only.
Click "Submit and Review your Claims"; click "Make Payment".
Making the payment of the required fee for each objection recommended.
On making the payment, verification thereof, the objections will be sent for consideration.
Note: The challenge window opens from September 11, 2024, to September 13, 2024 .
The UGC NET answer key would help the candidates. It would give an idea to the candidates about how much they are likely to score much before the official result is published. After the objection process is over, NTA will release the final UGC NET 2024 answer key. The final key will include changes, if any, for valid objections received by candidates. Objections shall not be accepted after the publication of the final answer key.
