How to Apply for Kerala SET 2024:

1.    Visit the Official Website: Head over to the LBS Centre for Science and Technology's official website, the conducting body for Kerala SET. Look for the "Kerala SET" or "Online Registration" section.

2.    New User or Returning Candidate? If you're a first-time applicant, you'll need to register as a new user. Existing candidates can log in using their previous credentials.

3.    Complete the Online Application Form: Carefully fill out the application form, ensuring you provide accurate details about yourself, educational qualifications, and the subject you wish to appear for in Paper 2.

The Kerala SET exam consists of two papers:

 Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers are objective type, containing Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Kerala SET Eligibility Criteria 2024

To be eligible for Kerala SET 2024, you must possess a Master's degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks (or equivalent grade) alongside a B.Ed degree from a recognized university. However, there are exceptions for specific subjects as outlined in the table below.

M.Sc Ed degree in the subject with at least 50% marks from an NCERT-sponsored Regional Institute of Education (RIE)

Botany, Zoology

M.Sc Ed degree in the subject with at least 50% marks from an NCERT-sponsored RIE OR M.Sc Ed degree in Life Science with at least 50% marks from any recognized Regional Institute of Education

Anthropology, Commerce, French, Gandhian Studies, Geology, German, Home Science, Journalism, Latin, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Russian, Social Work, Sociology, Statistics, Syriac

B.Ed degree

English

Second Class Master's degree in Communicative English (minimum 50% marks) and a B.Ed degree

Hindi

B.Ed degree in Hindi conducted by the Dakshin Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha (equivalency certificate not required)

Latin

Degree in any discipline with Latin as a second language (minimum 50% marks in Paper II) and minimum 50% aggregate marks for Part II

Important Note: If the qualifications are obtained from an open university that is not  recognized by the Kerala Government , the candidate will not be considered as eligible for the examination.
