10 years after PhD, or 13 years in total (provided less time taken for the PhD coursework)
Two PhD degrees supervised as the sole or main supervisor
Published at least 3 papers in SCI journals over the last 4 years
Equivalent to PhD or 6 years of experience after the PhD award, or 9 years in total, less the time taken for PhD coursework
No less than 3 years of experience subsequent to having been awarded the PhD
3 years Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs. 8000 (Level 12) or equivalent
Four papers in SCI journals after PhD
The minimum qualification for the position of Assistant Professor differs according to grade and level:
PhD with one publication in an SCI Journal
Three years of post PhD experience
One paper accepted for publishing in an SCI journal
PhD with 3 years post PhD or 6 years total
Two papers in SCI Journals or one patent
The procedure for selection as faculty at IIIT Allahabad shall be as follows
Screening Committee will prepare a list of candidates by doing an initial screening of applications
The Selected Candidates will be called for an in person presentation.
Interview before the Statutory Selection Committee
Final appointments based on committee recommendations and Board of Governors approval
