The HP TET exam comprises multiple papers, each tailored to specific teaching positions such as TGT (Arts), TGT (Non-Medical), TGT (Medical), Shastri, Language Teacher, JBT, Punjabi, and Urdu. Each paper consists of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and has a duration of 150 minutes. 

HP TET Syllabus: 

To excel in HP TET, it is essential to master the prescribed syllabus, which varies for each paper. The syllabus is designed to evaluate candidates' subject knowledge and teaching aptitude. Subjects covered include: 

  • TGT (Arts): Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English), Social Studies, Environmental Studies. 

  • TGT (Non-Medical): Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English), Mathematics, Science. 

  • TGT (Medical): Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English), Biology, Chemistry, Physics. 

  • Shastri: Proficiency in the Sanskrit language, general awareness. 

  • Language Teacher: Child Development and Pedagogy, Proficiency in the concerned language (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi). 

  • JBT: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English), Mathematics, Environmental Studies. 

Selection Process:
