Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have a PhD degree in the concerned or relevant subject.
Applicants need to have at least 10 publications in books or peer-reviewed research journals listed by the UGC
A minimum of 120 research marks is a must.
Age Limit:
Minimum age: The applicant should be 31 years of age on 1 January 2021.
Maximum: 56 years maximum age limit for the applicants, and age relaxation for direct recruitment may be granted up to 61 years.
There is also extra upper age relaxation for the applicants residing in Chhattisgarh as per the government norms.
The selection process consists of two parts: a Written Examination followed by an Interview.
Written Examination:
The total marks for this written are 300 for 150 questions.
It has been divided into two sections: Chhattisgarh General Studies and Subject-Specific Questions.
For qualification, a candidate must score at least 33% marks; at the same time, the required percentage for SC/ST/OBC candidates is 23%.

Interview:
The interview shall carry 30 marks. There shall be no minimum qualifying marks.
Candidates who will qualify for the written examination will be shortlisted for an interview.
The final merit shall be determined on the basis of total marks obtained in the written exam and interview, then the merit list shall be prepared.
Professors: Selected candidates will be paid under Pay Matrix Level 14. The approximate monthly remuneration will vary from Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200, apart from the admissible allowances such as DA, HRA, and other government allowances.
