To be eligible for appearing in the AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2024, a candidate needs to satisfy the educational and experience eligibility criteria for each post. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
Professor
Qualification: Medical Qualification as per Indian Medical Council Act 1956 along with Postgraduate qualification in the concerned discipline. In the case of hospital administration, an MD or a Master's in Hospital Administration as specified underlined above
Experience: 14 Years of Teaching and/or research experience in the subject speciality concerned after obtaining the PG.
Additional Professor
Qualification Required: Medical qualification as specified under the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 and postgraduate qualification in the concerned discipline. For Hospital Administration, specifically it should be MD or Master's degree in Hospital Administration.
Experience: Ten years teaching and/or research experience in recognized institution in the concerned subject after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Associate Professor
Qualification: Medical qualification included under the First or Second schedule or Part II of the Third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and a postgraduate qualification in the concerned specialty/ diploma thereto. For hospital administration, an MD or Master's degree in Hospital Administration shall be the eligibility qualification.
Experience: At least 6 years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Assistant Professor
Qualification: Medical qualification under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956; postgraduate qualification in the concerned discipline. In the case of Hospital Administration, the specific requirement is an MD or Master's degree in Hospital Administration.
Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialisation/consultant practice after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or an equivalent recognized qualification thereof.
